Challenging us to be more human,
not just more visible.
I help brands stop performing empathy—
and start practicing it.
I’m Emmett Ferra, a creative leader and strategist challenging organizations to show up with more humanity, more clarity, and more care. My work blends storytelling, sensory thinking, and a worldview shaped far outside the traditional agency path. I didn’t inherit a portfolio—I built one from scratch, grounded in sales, entrepreneurship, and a belief that brands don’t need to shout to be heard.

Brand + Commercial
Anyone can make content. I help brands make connection. Whether it’s a startup or a legacy brand, I design campaigns, ads, and digital experiences that center real people—not just metrics. Because when story comes first, trust follows naturally.

Coca-Cola x Gallaudet University
As the Production Supervisor on Coca-Cola’s first-ever campaign in American Sign Language, a collaboration with Gallaudet University. I ensured the execution aligned with the intention: to create an inclusive and authentic experience that resonated deeply with the Deaf community. This work reflects how I approach production—with empathy, precision, and purpose.

I tell stories that don’t shout—but sit patiently with you.
Whether it’s a short-form segment or an independent doc, my work explores culture, identity, and place with honesty and care. I prioritize real access, not surface representation—and create space for people to tell their stories in their own words, on their own terms. The goal isn’t just storytelling. It’s trust-building through presence, patience, and emotional truth.

Creative Leadership - Building Outside the System
I didn’t come up through ad school. I didn’t climb a traditional agency ladder. I built my creative leadership outside the system—through producing, founding, funding, and figuring it out as I went. With a background in sales and operations, my transition into this dream role gave me what a lot of creative leaders are missing: accountability. I know how to balance vision with pressure, and how to make things work when there’s no safety net. I’ve launched companies, led teams, produced nationally recognized work, and raised funding from scratch—not to chase awards, but to build platforms that actually matter. I challenge brands to think bigger and lead with purpose, because I’ve done the same in my own career.
Leadership isn’t about pedigree. It’s about proof.
